Started in Boston, MA, City of Dis is a 4-piece progressive metal band formed by James Cooper (Drums/Vocals), Juan Pablo Blanco (Bass/Vocals), Bryan Hassel (Guitar/Vocals), and Kevin Ronan (Guitar). City of Dis pairs the technical and exploratory sounds of progressive metal with the visceral atmosphere and textures of post-metal. A band never interested in repeating themselves, they are currently working on their third album, which will push their sound to heavier and more experimental places.
